AIR CONDITIONING SAMPLE PROJECTS

PRIVATE SCHOOL HVAC RETROFIT AND ADDITION
Provided design and installation of HVAC system for an existing multi-building private school (no previous central system existed).Project included adding chillers, boilers, 4-pipe fan coil units, air handlers, make up air units, controls, pumps, piping, electrical, ductwork, insulation and ancillary devices. Installation was completed and system operating within a 2 month window during summer break.

PRODUCTION AREA 25-TON ROOFTOP UNIT
Designed and installed two 25-ton rooftop air-conditioning units to serve a production area. Mounted an external HEPA air filter housing to each unit and selected an economizer to provide filtered makeup air during cooler months. Air jet diffusers were chosen to move air to the plant floor, smoke detectors were installed and all low voltage wiring. Supply air ductwork was installed at the ceiling and routed to avoid existing overhead lights, all inside ductwork was insulated with 1.5” fiberglass insulation and sealed air tight and all outside ductwork was insulated with 2” fiberglass insulation and sealed weather tight. The units were set on 6” reinforced concrete pads with bollards to protect the equipment from vehicle damage.

ZONE CONTROL – VARIABLE AIR VOLUME SYSTEM
Designed and provided single source installation of a variable air volume (VAV) rooftop-cooling unit for individual zone control of thirty office areas of a regional news paper’s corporate building. Installed thirty individual VAV boxes with hot water reheat coils, state of the art direct digital control (DDC) building automation system, line voltage electrical, high pressure ductwork, linear slot diffusers, hot water piping, ductwork and piping insulation, and all air and water balance. As this was the corporate office all work was performed between 6:00pm and 8:00am and the area had to be spotless each morning. The existing system was left in place and operational during renovation and taken out of service and dismantled after the new installation was complete.

SPOT COOLING DRY CLEANING PLANT
Designed and installed a cost effective and energy efficient spot cooling system for a dry cleaning plant. For this application traditional spot cooling systems would have required over 70-tons of chiller capacity. Applying newer high velocity system technology the same cooling was achieved with 30-tons. The system included five separate high velocity air-handling systems, an air-cooled chiller and an integrated desuperheater. By providing FREE hot water for the laundry process the desuperheater alone saved approximately $6,000 on average annually in energy consumption.

AIR DUCT CLEANING SAMPLE PROJECTS

DUCT CLEANING FOOD PROCESSING PLANT
Cleaning of ten production areas in the food processing plant included blanching areas, the cooking floor, cold storage and ingredient and blending rooms. All cleaning was performed using a particulate containment system that utilizes a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtered duct cleaning vacuum. The cleaning included supply and return air ductwork and air handler’s interiors, associated coils, drain pans, fan sections, and registers and grilles. Upon completion of the cleaning balance dampers throughout all systems were reset to the existing settings. To ensure minimal disruption to daily operation all work was scheduled with the maintenance staff.

DUCT CLEANING HISTORIC SITES & VISITOR CENTER
HEPA filtration duct cleaning was performed at the Visitor Center as well as various Historic Sites. The historic nature of the restored sites made the work unusually critical.

DUCT CLEANING HOSPITAL
Provided HEPA filtration duct cleaning paying special attention to Operating Rooms and Labor & Delivery Rooms.

STATE UNIVERSITY BORESCOPIC INSPECTION
Investigated “musty/moldy” odor in Administrative Building/Science Building. Provided videotaped and narrative description of internal inspection of HVAC system including ductwork, coils, blower section, air handling unit and squirrel cage. Recommendations for remediation were implemented.

BOILER SAMPLE PROJECTS

BRIDGE TUNNEL BOILER
Designed and replaced two 504,000 btu hot water boilers with two cast iron hot water boilers and oil fired burners including modification of the existing flue connection and piping for the state transportation department. Work was performed in an area with minimal and unusual accessibility.

BOILER AND HVAC RENOVATION SCHOOL AND SANCTUARY
To serve a church sanctuary a new boiler with circulating pumps and package rooftop unit with economizer were installed. For the classrooms and cafeteria area the existing packaged terminal air-conditioning units were removed and four new split systems were installed with hot water coils in the air-handling units. The project included all needed outside air, supply air and return air ductwork, outside air louvers, supply and return air grilles, water balance and an electronic control system with zone sensors.

BOILER AND CHILLER REPLACEMENT
Provided design and installation of a 49 hp gas fired boiler and 125-ton water-cooled chiller for an older facility. The project included piping design, demolition of the existing steam boiler, heat exchangers and associated equipment and piping.

BOILER REPLACEMENT
Removed four fuel oil fired burners and installed gas fired units in a church. Included new zone pumps, hot water heater, extensive water piping and controls.

CHILLER SAMPLE PROJECTS

CHILLER AND BOILER REPLACEMENT
Provided design and installation of a 125-ton water-cooled chiller and 49 hp gas fired boiler for an older church facility. The project included piping design, demolition of the existing steam boiler, heat exchangers and associated equipment and piping.

CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER REPLACEMENTS, VFDs REBUILDS
To resolve refrigerant management issues of a national retailer replaced R-11 centrifugal chillers at 8 locations from Southeastern Virginia thru the DC and surrounding metro area. Work was performed during store operating hours without disruption to cooling. Installed variable frequency drives (inverters) on water pumps to control condenser water flow. Rebuilt and overhauled two additional 250-ton centrifugal units.

PRODUCTION CHILLERS AND COOLING TOWER
Replaced two 160-ton R-11 centrifugal chillers with new rotary-screw packaged liquid chillers with microprocessor controls for the production area of a regional newspaper. Project included a new cooling tower, chilled and condenser water pumps and ancillary devices and upgrades o the mechanical room ventilation system meeting ASHRAE Standard 15 Safety Code for Mechanical Refrigeration.

PROCESS CHILLER INSTALLATION
Sized and installed new 75-ton process chiller for an OEM’s injection molding process. Installation included all control work and extending chilled water piping and electrical service.

Computer Room Unit Sample Projects

COMPUTER ROOM UNITS FOR NEWSPAPER PRODUCTION PLANT
Installed two computer room units to provide 6,400 CFM of supply air for temperature and humidity control to the computer controlled press equipment in the main production plant. The units include reheat for humidity control, a steam generator humidifier, microprocessor controller with LCD display, low ambient head pressure controls, dual independent refrigeration controls and smoke detector.

I/O & COMPUTER ROOM UNITS PETROLEUM REFINERY
To control building pressurization, cooling and dehumidification for one of the most critical switch gear rooms in the refinery we installed two computer room units. A single unit was replaced with these two 10-ton multistage units. Each is staged in 5-ton increments allowing for 100% redundancy and set up as lead/lag units to balance the run time on each. Controls were modified to run both supply fans and ductwork extended from the existing scrubber for the new unit and air is diverted to provide pressurization to the I/O and Computer Room. We installed a 200-amp Westinghouse MLO panel board feed from a 200-amp breaker and all condenser disconnects are rated for a Class 1 Division 2 location. Demo of the existing unit and installation of the new units was staggered to eliminate downtime to the building.

MANUFACTURING PLANT CLEAN ROOMS
Designed and installed two units to condition a class 10,000 Clean Room and a Large Workroom area maintaining a positive pressure in these areas in relation to the adjacent production areas. The Clean Room included adding eight fan powered HEPA ceiling mounted supply grilles, all needed return air sidewall registers, all sealed and insulated supply and return air ductwork and complete air balance of the system. The Large Workroom was not intended to meet a class 100,000 clean room design but included lowering the supply air ductwork to hang two feet above the finished ceiling, all lay in ceiling grilles and five low sidewall return air grilles. Each grille was ducted above the wall of the room and return air mixes with plant air and is then drawn back to the unit.

CONTROLS SAMPLE PROJECT

CHURCH CLASSROOM HVAC RETROFIT
Designed and installed a new HVAC and control system in an existing sanctuary that was being converted into two floors of classrooms. System was designed to allow flexibility for individual classroom control to provide either heating or cooling. The installation included an air-cooled chiller, two natural gas boilers, fifty-six fan coil units, air handlers, pumps, piping, ventilation system, controls and ductwork as well as all insulation and ancillary devices.

PLANT RELOCATION & NEW PLANT HVAC / CONTROLS / ELECTRICAL
Assisted in design, engineering and installation of HVAC, controls and electrical for a 45,000 square foot shell building. Selected and installed two air-cooled chillers, three commercial rooftop units, one split system, associated ductwork, registers, grilles and temperature control systems.

HEALTH CLUB / SPA NOISE AND TEMPERATURE CONCERNS
The company was asked to design and install a quite system with zone control to alleviate air system noise and temperature fluctuations in an upscale health club and spa. By installing a new air-conditioning only unit, variable air volume (VAV) boxes with hot water coils, hot water boiler, piping, a direct digital control (DDC) building automation system, registers and grilles, and duct silencers we provided a quiet system which allowed for the needed precise zone temperature control.

COOLING TOWERS SAMPLE PROJECTS

WEEKEND COOLING TOWER REPLACEMENT
Over a weekend replaced cooling tower at national retailer location. Work included removing the existing 450 ton cooling tower, re-piping the system, installing the new cooling tower and had the system on-line by Monday before staff arrived.

1200 TON COOLING TOWER REPLACEMENT
Designed and installed a 1200 ton, stainless steel, Evapco cooling tower. The regional newspaper’s production facility had corrosion problems with the previous unit due to the proximity to the oceanfront so a stainless steel tower was selected. The work included structural steel fabrication, design and installation of all new electrical and control systems. Time frame constraints limited demolition and new work schedule to a 10 day shut down – schedule met with 3 days to spare!

HOTEL COOLING TOWER REPLACEMENT
Replaced a 40+ year old wood cooling tower at a hotel with a new 250-ton Marley cooling tower. Work included removal and proper disposal of asbestos containing shingles from the cooling tower, fabrication of a new tower support, all new SC .40 PVC supply and return water piping to existing line outside the building, new make-up water and drain line piping and new electrical branch circuit to outside the building.

COOLING TOWER REBUILDS
Rebuilt a 2000-ton tower providing water to the production chillers in a brewery. Completely refurbished 450 and 650 ton towers for main office of regional newspaper. Performing this work will add 5 to 10 years to the life of the towers. Rebuilt a 250-ton unit for a multi-use synagogue / school / recreation center.

Electrical Technologies Sample Projects

1200-AMP SERVICE
Designed and installed a new 1200-amp, 120/208-volt, 3-phase, 4-wire electrical service to upgrade the existing service at an international bridge and marine contractor’s US corporate office. Included in the project was a 600-amp sub fed panel and push-button starters for all motor loads. All circuits in the existing 800-amp motor control center (MCC) were transferred to the new 1200- and 600-amp panels. The transfer of circuits was carefully coordinated and performed over a weekend to minimize downtime and facilitate the transfer of electrical service from the local power utility.

ELECTRICAL FOR RELOCATED RUTIL AND BOY PRESSES
Set and installed Rutil and Boy molding presses. Extended the existing chilled water piping, electrical service and conduit to the new press locations and tied them into the presses. The projects included providing 480 volt, 3 phase, 200 amp electrical service from the overhead busway disconnects, installing compressed air lines to the press locations tieing in all controls. Fabricated and installed one service rack for each press.

NEW PLANT ELECTRICAL AND HVAC
Assisted in design, engineering and installation of electrical service and HVAC for a 45,000 square foot shell building. Electrical service included new switchgear, a 300-amp busway as well as all panels, 4000 amp service, underground conduits and wiring and parking lot pole lighting. For the gas bunkers adjacent to the building several hundred feet of high-pressure gas lines, control units and ventilation were installed.

OCCUPANCY SENSOR FOR LIGHTING CONTROL
Installed occupancy sensor for lighting control of second floor production observation area for a seafood processing plant. Controls provide energy savings because the observation area is not utilized during all plant shifts.

Facility Management Sample Projects

ON-SITE HVAC/R SUPPORT
For more than 30 years have provided on-site preventive and predictive maintenance to a production plant manufacturing a super absorbent material. Maintenance includes ten 200-tons process chillers, 150 other pieces of HVAC equipment, control room environmental systems that support the manufacturing process and critical quality assurance laboratory systems. To meet customer requirements production has to operate at full capacity therefore part of the predictive program includes scheduled rebuilds of 100-ton compressors as well as the design and installation of redundant systems.

MULTIPLE LOCATION PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Preventive maintenance programs at multiple production and office locations of a regional newspaper. Each program tailored to facility and in-house capabilities and equipment ranging from incremental and packaged units to built up systems with chillers and boilers.

ON-SITE HVAC/R SUPPORT
Provide on-site support to a brewery with a full-time Technician and two additional Technicians as needed. Services include preventive maintenance, repairs and predictive maintenance activities on all the HVAC/R equipment in packaging, brewing and the utilities office areas. Equipment ranges from the original (30 + years) to new systems and includes a state-of-the-art refrigeration system.

INFRARED HEAT FOR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FACILITY
Improved comfort conditions and productivity for mechanics working in a vehicle maintenance facility of a premier highway contractor by designing and installing an infrared heating system. This system allows objects within the shop, the concrete floor, vehicles being repaired, workbenches, etc., to absorb heat and they in turn heat the surrounding air and mechanics working in facility. Recovery time to heat the shop after opening and closing garage doors is rapid compared to a conventional forced-air system. The application consists of both suspended infra-red gas heaters for spot heating areas like inventory control and low intensity tubular infra-red gas heaters configured to “wrap” the entire building for heating the majority of the work space. These tubular units are able to be vented through the sidewall. For added comfort, the system was sized for a design day to provide adequate heat on even the coldest winter day.

Indoor Air Quality Sample Projects

OFFICE ENVIRONMENT IAQ INVESTIGATION
An IAQ investigation was performed to determine what may have contributed to the respiratory discomfort experienced by an employee. For analysis and comparison of data, a non-complaint area and an outside air location were also included in the investigation. The IAQ evaluation included air sampling for concentrations of Viable Fungal Bioaerosols and Total Fungal Bioaerosols. The investigation also included the measurement of Temperature, Relative Humidity and Carbon Dioxide. Viable fungal bioaerosol and total fungal bioaerosol data revealed concentrations and populations of fungi considered typical for indoor environments and would not be expected to produce discomfort or irritation among normal populations. No action is recommended. Concentrations of other particulate, specifically epithelial (skin) cells and fibers, were elevated throughout the indoor samples. The source of epithelial cells is generally humans and animals. It is recommended that the areas be examined for housekeeping practices and the possibility of improved filter efficiency and/or frequency of changes to reduce particulate. Temperature, relative humidity and carbon dioxide measurements were recorded in all sampling locations. All were within normal and acceptable ranges and none would be expected to cause discomfort or irritation among normal populations. The visual examination, conducted revealed no compelling evidence of fungal contamination. The air handler and interior of the ductwork serving the area and the area above the suspended ceiling were examined. No significant dirt, contamination nor possible contaminant pathways were observed.

Industrial Services Sample Projects

INJECTION MOULDING EQUIPMENT RELOCATION
Performed relocation all process equipment to a single plant. Moved 36 injection molding presses, chillers, pumps, and ancillary equipment. Installed compressed air, chilled water, and city water to each press. For the additional process requirements added chillers, pumps, controls, electrical, and storage tanks. For improved comfort in the production area installed ventilation fans and modified the existing plant make up air system. To allow for uninterrupted manufacturing during the consolidation much of the work was performed after hours and during weekend non-production hours.

INSTALL GRIEVE WALK-IN OVEN
Set and leveled a new grieve walk-in oven. Installed gas line to the oven including all piping, fittings, regulators and valves. Tied in the electrical service from the existing 460 volt 30 amp disconnect. Used existing roof penetrations for the required vent and sealed all roof penetrations watertight.

COIL WINDING MACHINES RELOCATION
Disconnected and reinstalled coil winding machines. Project included tag-out, plugging and labeling all electrical circuits, airlines, oxygen lines, acetylene lines and computer communication lines. Rerouted, installed and labeled new air lines, oxygen lines, acetylene lines and electrical circuits to new equipment locations and final connections. Covered all new lines on the floor with Diamond Deck metal anchoring it to the floor and applying black/yellow safety tape where the metal crosses walkways. Aligned, leveled and anchored the equipment. Ground and cut the existing anchors to floor level.

PLANT RELOCATION & NEW PLANT HVAC / ELECTRICAL
Assisted in design, engineering and installation of HVAC and electrical for a 45,000 square foot shell building. Selected and installed two air-cooled chillers, three commercial rooftop units, one split system, associated ductwork, registers, grilles and temperature control systems. Relocated the Research and Development and Light Soak areas from the existing facility. This move included many pieces of laser machinery, gas cabinets and compression test chambers. For the Light Soak area the air compressor, associated drier, tank and piping were installed and six air cooled condensers and the environmental chambers were reinstalled. All equipment rigging, nitrogen piping, de-ionized water, chilled water, control cabinets, switchgear, electrical and programmable Logic Controller (PLC) panels were part of this move. Tied in domestic water and sewer piping for the HVAC equipment as well as insulation for all chilled water piping and ductwork, roofing penetrations and equipment rigging. Electrical service included new switchgear, a 300-amp busway as well as electrical panels, 4000 amp service, underground conduits and wiring and parking lot pole lighting. For the gas bunkers adjacent to the building several hundred feet of high-pressure gas lines, control units and ventilation were installed.

Metal Fabrication Sample Projects

FUME CAPTURE TUNNEL
Designed, fabricated and built an enclosure on an existing production dryer to eliminate off gassing concerns from a resin curing process at a process plant. The capture tunnel maintains a negative pressure to direct the phenol and formaldehyde gasses to the adjacent incinerator. The enclosure is 75′ L X 8′ W X 36″ H, made of galvanized 20 gauge metal, double wall construction, with insulation between the metal panels. Designed to be chemical and heat resistant and allow access to the entire production process with insulated safety glass observation windows built into the access doors.

INDUSTRIAL PROCESS DUST SHIELDS
To resolve OSHA concerns at an international chemical manufacture we designed, fabricated and installed dust shields on process equipment. Due to the corrosive nature of the product manufactured the shields were made of a Lexan covers with stainless steel frames and hinges. The plan was developed within 24 hours and a prototype implemented for testing within a week. We were recognized with an award from the customer for contribution of this “Cost Effective” solution.

SPECIALTY METAL FABRICATION
Provide ongoing design/installation service for countless specialty metal fabrication projects at a local brewery. Projects have included fabrication of type 304 and 316 stainless steel and aluminum of gauges ranging from 11 through 22.

FABRICATED ALUMINUM SHEET METAL CHUTES
Fabricated and installed .090 aluminum sheet metal chutes per owner design at injection molding plant.

KITCHEN EXHAUST SYSTEM
Installed electrical service for supply and exhaust fans and all controls for the new kitchen exhaust system at local city high school. Controls included motor starters, fire suppression, fire alarm and shunt trip breakers.

DECORATIVE DUCTWORK THEME PARK ATTRACTION
Designed and installed decorative spiral ductwork consistent with attraction theme for aesthetic purposes only at theme park.

TUBE FABRICATION FOR MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Fabricated and built equipment to manufacture 1,600 aluminum perforated tubes used in sandpaper manufacturing process. Customer exported 1,100 to Austria facility.

Piping Sample Projects

HIGH PRESSURE STEAM PIPING – COMMISSARY
With minimal working space designed and installed extensive high pressure steam piping in a kitchen central commissary. Included pipe-fitting and kitchen exhaust hook up for state-of-the-art food service facility. The installation included welded exhaust duct (grease laden).

SUPPLY AND RETURN CHILLED WATER PIPING RETROFIT
Installed new chilled water lines to increase water flow to the newly added production equipment. Wrapped the pipe with fiberglass insulation and supported the new pipe with thread rod and clevis hangers.

CHURCH PIPING RENOVATION
Deteriorating and leaking piping was replaced throughout the church with new dual temperature schedule 40 black iron malleable piping and 2” fiberglass insulation with service jacketing. Renovation included tying new piping into all existing fan coil units, chiller and boiler and proper removal and disposal of asbestos containing insulation materials.

Refrigeration Sample Projects

REFRIGERATION PLANT CONVERSION & DESIGN / BUILD
Complete renovation of refrigeration plant for large peanut processing facility. All areas were kept in operation during renovation. Project included replacing refrigeration equipment, using existing air handling units and converting R-12 systems to R-22. Were then asked to design and install refrigeration at a new warehouse. The six new unit coolers provided 200-tons of cooling designed to maintain 38º F and 65% RH.

REFRIGERATED WAREHOUSE PLANT RENOVATION
Designed and installed a new refrigeration plant for nine distinctive cold storage areas to accommodate product ranging from chicken to produce. The equipment selected provided additional sub cooling allowing more unit capacity with less horsepower greatly reducing the facilities electrical usage. Work included all new condensing units and unit coolers, copper refrigerant lines and new concrete equipment pads for three warehouses and modification of the existing pads in the remaining warehouses. Included in the project were roof sleepers and pitch pockets for the roof top equipment refrigerant line sets and electrical circuits.

To accommodate the new equipment upgrades were made to the facilities electrical service. Changes to the existing 600 amp service included replacement of two existing 200 amp panels with two 200 amp 42 circuit panels the addition of a 100 amp 42 circuit panel and a 100 amp feed through panel as well as a new 150 amp 42 circuit panel for an added forklift charging area.

REFRIGERATION PLANT ADDITION
Added two 80′ W X 180′ L refrigerated warehouses to an existing cold storage facility. System included two air-cooled condensing units and twelve unit coolers. The system was designed with remote electronic temperature and humidity sensors located in the warehouses and chart recorders located in the manager’s office to continually monitor warehouse conditions. Following this project provided turnkey design build for the same equipment configuration for a new warehouse at another location.

FOOD PROCESSING REFRIGERANT CONVERSION
Converted units for food processing plant from R-502 to R-402A refrigerant. Project included changing oils and pressure reliefs and tagging/identification for new refrigerant.

Testing and Balancing Sample Projects

RESTAURANT & KITCHEN AIR BALANCE
Performed an air balance survey at four restaurants to offer recommendations for improved kitchen supply and exhaust airflow and guest comfort in the dining areas. Total exhaust and make up air readings were taken for each kitchen exhaust hood as well as total supply air measurements for the air conditioning units. Operational evaluations were performed on each HVAC system, exhaust fan and make up air unit. Interior ductwork was inspected and load calculations provided for each location. Upon completion of the investigation a report with recommendations and budget pricing was provided. All locations required airflow adjustments to kitchen makeup air to bring more unconditioned air to the hoods enabling them to exhaust less conditioned air. These adjustments included sizing and replacing sheaves and pulleys and adjusting outside air settings on the units. The dining areas of all locations required air balance to achieve proper air flow. Some locations needed ductwork modifications, adding make up air units and ductwork and unit cleaning.

AIR BALANCE BASE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
Corrected HVAC deficiencies in a base Administration Building. Work included air balance of recently renovated ductwork, adding balancing dampers, water balance of fan coil units and air duct cleaning. Baseboard heaters were replaced with an electric duct heater, a zone damper was installed in the supply duct and controls with a remote thermostat were added.

UPS ROOM AIR CONDITIONING & PRESSURIZATION
Installed supplemental air conditioning for the UPS Room and a through the wall exhaust fan to vent the hydrogen gas from the area. Tied the new unit into the main high pressure truck duct and routed new ductwork with an air volume damper to the UPS Room. We added a fixed damper in the wall between the open area and the UPS Room and sized and installed an exhaust fan with an explosion proof motor and switch to maintain the room in a slight negative pressure.

HOSPITAL ISOLATION ROOMS
Designed and installed mechanical and ventilation systems and associated alarm systems for isolation rooms for a local hospital network. Designs met all Center for Disease Control (CDC), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and ASHRAE standards for infectious and protective isolation rooms.

THERMOGRAPHIC INSPECTION PEANUT PLANT
Infrared inspection was performed in lieu of shutting down electrical service to the plant to perform switchgear preventive maintenance to satisfy the plant’s insurance carrier’s requirements. The inspection identified any discrepancies that would have been found during switchgear preventive maintenance but allowed for plant operation during the equipment inspection. Repairs could then be scheduled during regularly scheduled shut down and any critical repairs performed by only shutting down service to that particular piece of equipment. Included in the inspection was the switchgear, panel boards, sub panels, all disconnects associated with any production equipment and the electric utility transformer.

BUILDING SHELL INFRARED INSPECTION
The corporate office of a construction firm wanted to perform a payback analysis for proposed building shell upgrades. To determine energy costs associated with heat losses and gains from the building shell an infrared scan was first performed on exterior windows, doors and stud areas. These losses and gains were calculated in energy consumption and converted to the dollars for that energy. A payback could then be determined for the upgrades by comparing the cost of the upgrades to the savings in energy consumption.

THERMOGRAPHIC INSPECTION SEAFOOD PLANT
Infrared scan on all plant panels, switchgear and load centers at a seafood processing facility. Thermography allowed for the inspection to occur during production because electrical service wasn’t interrupted. Just like switchgear preventive maintenance the inspection identified any discrepancies and repairs could be scheduled.
